Does anyone thing that hard mode is hard? It is easy for me. :/

I think its challenging. Those Axecutioners are really tough! At least for level for my level 3 new guys. Me and my brother liek to spend the exp around, and haven't been using the giant a whole lot.

I don't think it's hard for fully upgraded Skylanders, but for ones you are leveling up, yes.

Nightmare mode is unlocked via beating the game on any difficulty

Hard mode is more difficult than SA, and it is a little difficult when using Skylanders with no upgrades.

I know what you mean but I was taking lvl 1 chars in to later levels and doing okay, if I kept my wits about me. Even with chars at level 5-6, they had no upgrades as I donn't want to upgrade and find I can't do heroic challenges.

Even leveling up Skyalnders from level 1, it is pretty easy on hard mode. Does hard mode give out more money and experience though or is it just harder enemies for the same amount of exp?

Hard makes it have even less gold and exp. We chose it and now upgrading is a pain in the grass. But we did some battle mode, which is very rewarding, so tomorrow we'll beef up on the power.

It was fun adefeating a horde in a later level with a nweb character and getting 2-3 level ups in a row, within seconds.

I picked hard mode, and im enjoying that it takes a while to upgrade my characters. Only thing is i'm ony really using 2, and my bf plays co op with me and uses 2. we almost beat the game and my 2 faves are around level 6

I don't think Nightmare mode is actually that difficult, honestly, even with newbie Skylanders. It's not easy, but not really hard either.

I'm glad! I am on my last few Skylanders for S:SA and they level up too fast! I got my smilie from level 1 to level 9 in 45 minutes!

I haven't gotten Giants yet. This makes me want to max out all my series 1 characters and get them as much treasure as possible, which before now was just a waste of collecting treasure.

They don't need any treasure unless you haven't upgraded them.

yes, but im referring to the idea that there are lots of stuff to purchase in giants besides upgrades.
