Did anyone else go to the store with no intention of buying the game, yet walked out with one. I took my nephew, girlfriend, and her brother to Walmart last night for the sole reason of looking for variants so I could have them before I get the game and not miss out. I wasn't planning on getting the game for about 6 months unless my TRU got the Wii bundle. Ended up buying a Starter and a single. I figured if I didn't get the GITD starter, I'd never get it. Then went on to get granite crusher at Target. Thought I would only spend about 20 at most on a couple figures and ended up spending $110 this weekend. At least I've made good tips this week (Pizza Delivery).

Anyone else have this happen to them?

Same thing happened to me with the first game. I was shopping around with my mother for my birthday. Went to 4 different stores, and every time I saw the game I got more and more interested. Now Im here lol

i went there to buy skyrim and ended up with skylanders spyro's adventure. How? well, when i saw that display where you can press the button to see the skylanders on the mini screen and i was like : WOOOOW. looked at the game and said that the toys come to life so i bought it

Nearly 5 months since the last post... That's called "Bumping a dead thread". That bothers some people, and pretty sure it's against the rules. Consider this a friendly reminder.

And this happened to me with Giants. Stopped by TRU to look if they had any figures I was interested in and found Giants, hadn't realized we had already passed the release date like 2 days earlier.
