OK - before I ask the question, please don't start flaming / acusing of any potential wrong-doings etc., there is no ill-intent in this question.
How can I re-box a Skylander? I've seen people hinting at the hairdryer method - has anyone tried it, if so how easy / hard is it and were the end results acceptable?
If someone who HAS/CAN do it would rather PM me than openly discuss it then that's fine.
So, here's why I ask. With Series 1, I NEVER managed to find any variants anywhere other than eBay where the prices were sky-high. For once, today, I found a variant in a store - I got the Rock Zook as part of a triple pack. At the same time, I bought a regular Zook in a single pack.
All of my previous variants, GITDs, WERD, Toy Fairs etc., stay proudly in their original packaging whilst all of the standard versions are the ones that my son plays with.
What I want to do, is put my Rock Zook into the single Zook packaging so that he can take his rightful place with the other "specials" that I have which is why I ask if anyone has any good methods for re-boxing.

Your Rock Zook would be just as collectable in the triple pack and possibly more rare than the singles. You may want to reconsider repacking it. And the repacking would reduce its collectable value. I do understand why you want to for display purposes, but I wouldn't do it. Just my opinion of course. Good Luck!

And if you ever did resell it (and let's face it, part of collecting is to keep it for down the track), then you would be morally obligated to mention that it was a reseal and not MIB.

Christopher...my suggestion is to try to open it as best you can to leave as much paper on the backer board as possible so you don't tear it. They seem to have sealed the current ones better than original game. When you're ready to put it back in....register on the top center and tack it with a dab of superglue. Work your way down the rest of the way registering it as you go... If you do it right...you'll never know the difference.

@deantjeep - I understand what you are saying here, but I can't justify buying another triple pack just so I don't open this one up (especially since I've already done so!)
@chaosworrier - I'm NEVER going to sell it. I have a lot of old BBC Micro and Commodore Amiga stuff in my loft, and every now and again, I bring it down and let my kids play on it - they love it - it's technology that was around before them, and nostalgia for me, and I hope Skylanders will be the same for my yound boy who plays it to death @xerokills - thanks - I did try with a hairdryer on another Giant last night, and it wasn't particularly successful, so will try with a very sharp blade to take it out and glue it back.
