When I bought Chill at Gamestop today, the figure had blue lips like in the art. But I went upstairs to Target and all of their Chills had red lips. What's the deal there? They started out with red, realized they made a mistake, then went to blue?

Seems so, yes. Sprocket also originally had black goggles and brown bands, Flashwing had different claws and plating, and more. (Personally, I'm really glad they fixed those issues...)

So, I am assuming that Red lips is the more rare? Do you think this will end up like Target exclusive Whirlwind where a slight difference in the paint job mandates a higher resale price?

This thing will probably be as rare as Silver Helmet Sonic Boom.

I know not of this Silver Helmet Sonic Boom nor do I know of its value.

For the record, I went to my local EB Games this evening to sort out some missing account points and looked at their Chills - both single packs and 3 packs had blue lips.

I just checked, and my Chill also has red lips.

It seems like the US got a lot of the proto stock. Guess that's one of the downsides of getting so much. (Unless you prefer/wanna collect Chapped Cherry Lips, that is, but personally I like having the figures be consistent with the game, even though I like the red more.)

Mine has red lips. I'll keep a lookout for the blue lips.

I checked my TRU. They had about a dozen individual Chill, all with red lips. There were a few three-packs, and all had blue lips.

Anyone find red lips in a 3 pack yet? I just found one @ Best Buy!!!

i saw a few at walmart today along will chill in whirlwind packaging

I picked up one of each, and opened the Blue Lip Chill leaving the other in the package.

I think that's the safe move, but we'll see.

I have checked at least six stores in my area. Every one of them is the same: blue lips in triple-pack, red lips in single-pack.

I got my chill yesterday, had I known about this before heading out for the hunt I'da made a point to get one of each (If they had it)- Wasn't looking for this so I'm unsure, but I did check mine. I got a Single pack Chill and she has blue lips.

I've only seen red/pink/purplish lips in triple packs in my area in Australia, and about half of them have that colour, the other half blue. All singles I've seen have blue lips.

I've only seen blue lips on the 3-pack ones around here, all red/pink lips for singles. My single is red. I don't think I"ll open her.

In Australia I have only seen single pack Chill with Blue lips, and until this evening only saw Blue Lipped Chill in 3 packs, then digging through a pile found one. Kind cool if they do subtle variants like that, most people wont care but kinda fun for collectors, especially when they seem like they are of no greater $$ value...keeps the resellers at bay.

I ordered chill from Amazon and when I got it yesterday it was "red" lips.. This was suppose to be for my 6yr old son but I dunno now I'm thinking I shouldn't open.. What to do (Decisions , Decisions)
