7:50am, sitting outside my local Target & there is noone here!!!! I mean nobody.....this is good for me!! Wonder if everyone is at TRU or if everyone has decided not to hunt this time around, after how hard it was last time around???

Nobody was at TRU got everything I needed. Then headed to target and got granite crusher.

At Target now. 12 min to go. I'm #2 in line out of 8. Heading to TRU after this. I'm glad I was able to get all the regular figures last night at Walmart. The only thing they didn't have at Walmart was the GITD 3DS starter. Was able to get the GITD PS3 starter though. Have to wait on a GITD 3DS I preordered as a backup.

I decided to stop by Target first since Granite might get a little harder to get later on. Whirlwind exclusive ring any bells

I can tell you that, at least at the Target near me in Columbus, OH, they had stuff behind the counter as well as on the shelves, and were limiting purchases to 5 per person, with no duplicates allowed. So, take that, lame scalpers!
Sure, if you were only gong there trying to get a collection, it would be kind of a pain, but I think that's better that them just letting one jerky scalper come in and swoop it all up.
The point wasn't pushed (since we only needed the Granite Crusher from there), but I would think if you were legitimately only there to buy for your own collection, they might be able to bend that "limit 5" rule.

My Target was empty. They were limiting the Exclusive Crushers, which I expected, but they were also limiting Lightcores...not a big deal though since TRU had hundreds of them at Buy 1 Get 1 40% off.

Anyone elses Target have Wave 2 guys? Mine did randomly. Cleveland OH here.

Thiiiiiiiiiiiis is ridiculous. Target nos nothing about the granite exclusive so I'm waiting for him to check the back. I could have been at tru by now.

Mine here confirmed Sprocket in the back. But it's still 7:14 so we'll see.

wore the skylanders shirt talked with some dudes who were at the midnight walmart realease who asked if I was there told them no due that midnight releases were not worth it

talked to some employees who were just setting up in a completely different part of the store(?)

they didnot have the pS3 or any of the normal sized figures(boo)

did have granite crusher so I got him.


seriously when your store does not have the PS3 version OR the small Singles packs you just know that either the shipment went bad or you have some odd scalpers.

Oh well just more encoaragement to go to best buy

So I just facepalm spend gift card I found in my wallet yesterday and grimace at the sales tax (which is too darn high)

Now I am sitting at home and wondering If I should crack the package open early.

and now I wait for best buy to open so that I can use rewards points to actually buy the version I want along with fright rider

TRU looked rather crowded when I passed it. that's probably where everyone was and where my area's "mystery scalper" was.

The Target I went to had a couple people buying Skylanders, mostly the game and a few figures. They had quite a few Granite Crushers behind the counter (maybe more in boxes, there were a lot back there of what I assume were just Skylanders merch). I picked up one, along with Fright Rider and Swarm.

Did you guys see the triple pack lightcores for $30? Target exclusive apparently

No Granite Crushers received by my Target.

That won't be coming out for a couple of weeks, either 11/2 or 11/20, can't remember which.

Line of 20 people waiting at my Target. Somewhat happy group a lo of us know each other from haveing ust wrestled for figures at Wal-Mart, but that's another story. I get to electronics just old figures out. I say something lady tells me we have to wait til Tuesday when they release new items in electronics for this store. Another kind person from our line that now numbers 24 shows them the add with todays date blazened on it. Lady says she will see what she can do. Leaves poor confused kid alone to watch line of 28 people. Comes out with just starters and POP's. I ask for figures and am told that they are released on Tues. Again show lady picture of Granite Crusher in flier with todays date on it. She tells me that not all stores do exclusives. I pointed to Giant Granite Crusher banner hanging from ceiling. She leaves I talk everyone in line into buying the actual game from Wal-Mart for the GITD portal. Lady comes back with eighty four boxes of skylander s opening them all unopened. She starts opening them all one by one. Very slowly distributing the contents. I tried to help open boxes and got yelled at. After forty minutes she had only opened sixteen boxes just regualr giants, triples and battle pack assortments. Nothing special found. Box seventeen was the Granite Crusher's I bougt one and left. Now I wish I had stayed even later because I am sure this lady would have opened wave 2 boxes as well. Oh well I hate Target.

My Target had one other guy waiting, and a lady showed up when they opened the doors. Had about five Granite Crushers out. Didn't see this mysterious target-exclusive lightcore triple pack.

My target had NO small figures. Just the giants. Don't know why. No biggie. I think I got the best figure deal at TRU anyways. Got my granite crusher and swarm. Felt swarm would be harder to find later instead of bouncer and reg crusher.

Our Target only had Giants as well, no smaller figures. All other stores, WalMart, TRU, and GameStop had plenty of figures. There was no one in line this morning at any of those stores. So we got everything we needed.

there was one other person at mine. didnt have anything out on the shelves, took 45 minutes to get it from the back. got granite crusher, and pop fizz. then went to walmart for gitd and they had all of wave 2 out, but i didnt get any because i didnt want to spend all my money.

Got Granite Crusher at my Target without any problems. They only had about 10-12 so a few people in the back of the line were unfortunately out of luck. Left Target and went straight to TRU. They had tons of wave 1, including legendaries. Glad I chose Target first.

Got granite & light cores @ Vegas target, no line & most were in a pallet next to display. Flagged an employee down & he got granite out for us (it looked like they didnt have space on the pegs for the bigger characters).

Well went to Walmart, got triple packs and giants, then went to Target and got the triple packs, battle pack, Granite Crusher and giants (returning Walmart purchase because I save 5% with Target Red Card). Got to Target around 7:20 with no one there, stood by door at around 7:30, had 3 people behind me when the store opened. Had Giants and game out but nothings else till I talked to the electronics people. They brought it out from back (partly because the aisle resets Tuesday and most of the product was not located/back-stocked in the backroom.) Toys R Us had no one really there, huge wall of the items, a worker even separated the figures by peg making things easy to get. Confirmed Wave 2 out tomorrow and manager stated those boxes were not even opened so could not confirm what would be out. Also forgot to mention I picked up 2 of the Dog Tags - won't buy any more of those (wife got them for me really) and the big plush Trigger Happy Mine, Mine, Mine! And no Legendary Stealth Elf - maybe a part of Wave 2???
So its on to Toys R Us Monday morning for Wave 2 (buy 1 get 1 40% off!)

So am I reading this right......people have seen wave 2 out at Target? I thought it was a 30 day TRU exclusive.

my target had half an end cap....i grabbed one of each which practically cleared them out i went back an hour later and they had more plus granite crushers out when i talked to one of my coworkers i learned that we didnt even set up the display :/

I bought all of wave 2 except Hot Head and Lightcore Jet Vac today at Target. The boxes were mislabeled - they didn't say sell on 10/22 like they were supposed to - they said sell on 10/21.
