Anyone else tried out any of the lightcore characters or giants on the old portal of power?

I've tried every single one out on both portals (Xbox360) and the old portal causes the lights to flicker very fast, but noticeable, on all but Tree Rex. When I got out the new portal I thought it looked horrible and that I would stick with my old portal, but this flickering has meant that I've traded up to the newer portal.

Anyone else noticed this?

Tl;dr The lightcore figures flicker on the old portal of power. I would put it down to how much power the new portal gives to the lights.

Is it a wired portal or wireless?
They get power from the portal, so maybe your batteries are low?

Sorry forgot to mention that this is on the Xbox 360, so both portals are wired. I have amended the OP to take this into account.

I was really hoping to keep my S1 portal as well...

I guess not.....nobody has really chimmed in. Sorry to hear you had trouble with yours and hope it's not a widespread issue.

I know right, oh well. Guess we spend an extra 15 bucks to get useless Cynder and a second Jet Vac.

once the game gets released in the states hopefully people will start testing it out

Aww, that really sucks! I have the Wii portal (the old one), so hopefully mine works alright.... anyway, I hope you find a way to fix it.

Even though I bought the giants starter pack. I am still using my original portal. Everything seems to be working fine.

have you tried any lightcores ? or giants other then tree rex?
