Anyone else get this? Does that mean they're not getting enough in on Day 1 even for pre-orders?

o.o seems like ur store doesnt have enough copies to satisfy all pre-orders... u could try just showing up on day 1 they usually have 1 extra...

yup I got the same email too, delays for pre-order Wii and PS3 starter packs. TRU is already starting their nonsense.

Bunch of bull. Was talking to the worker in the electronics department and he said that they have plenty of packs for release day sunday and now this all of a sudden?

Same here.. local manager has staff telling everyone calling to wait until they get another email at a later date to fulfill the order. They wouldn't tell me if they just over prebooked or didn't get the # they expected as I was told yesterday the stock was already in back ready to be put out. I prebooked over 2 months ago and they don't have stock?

My friend got the same email from another store and just talked to them. They checked and sure enough they did not receive enough stock to fulfill all preorders.

Very disappointed in TRU at this point.

Call in to your TRU. I'm putting that in Bold for a reason.

Each TRU is different, but the same thing happened to me 2 weeks ago when Black 2 and White 2 came out. I got the email and called into TRU who said that was really weird because they got the games in on Wednesday.

From what it seems, TRU is having some sort of bug in their system for reporting on the stock, or someone isn't doing their job haha

Got the mail for 2 preorders

Just called into my TRU. They said they'll definitely have them in on Sunday, and this is the first they've heard about any sort of delay emails.

So like I said, give your store a call. Worst comes to worst you just buy the game at another store. I don't forsee them actually running out of the starter packs at any store.

CALL CALL CALL I cannot stress enough that people do this, nobody that works at Toys R Us has ever heard of this email.

i got the exact opposite in my mail box. Nee neer nee neer!

I would go to your toys r us or call them. I just came back from mine because I received that same email and they told me that email must have been sent out early or was wrong. He went back in the stockroom and said it's not by name, but they have enough skylanders to build a house so just show up and they will have them. I am still showing up at least by 7am. I don't trust TRU

I preorderd in the store and I got the same e-mail about it being canceled as well. However I just received another e-mail from TRU earlier today that my preorder will indeed be in stock tomarrow morning after all. So check your inboxes or call the store but most likely all preorders for the game should be fullfilled.
