I'm getting the Lumbering Laser path!

The other one is Treefolk Charger, it's upgrades are:
Titanic Elbow Drop: Press A while charging to perform one serious elbow drop move
Lightfooted: Charge longer and fatser, doing more damage in the process
Ultimate Stampede: Sequola Stampede attack does maximum damage

Soul Gem: Woodpecker Pal: A woodpecker buddy joins Tree Rex in battle - Soul Gem in Molekin Mountain

Also like with Pop Fizz, they aren't showing the superior path...

So this is a confirmed path for Tree rex? How did you find out? Do you own the game?

^ yes they do own it

you can change paths in giants though so it doesn't really matter any more which one as you can have both

I'm going with the cannon path

I tried out both paths and I have compiled a pro's and con's section to help people decide which path to take. This is for gameplay and aesthetics.

I picked the charging path in the end, don't pick the Lazer Path it is a massive disappointment.

Charging Path

Pro: The elbow drop takes out multiple enemies, Tree Rex moves faster, has cool looking spikes during a charge.
Con: A bit hard to use, the armour doesn't look as nice as the one in the lazer path.

Lazer Path

Pro: His armour looks nice when fully upgraded, one charged up blast causes 100 damage.
Con: Limited range and hard to aim, only takes out practically one enemy at a time,

Not to sound behind, but are you kidding me?! How am I supposed to choose between 's eye beam path or his brawling path?! That really sucks.

I picked the Charging Path. I like the Laser attack (one of the best projectiles in the game), but how are the upgrades gonna be good for PvP?

The upgrade with the lasers exploding & pasing through enemies won't work in battle mode, neither will turning them into exploding bounce pods. The boince pods would be useless in story mode too unless they're like a HUGE group of enemies.

The Charge path would be better for PvP.

I can never really permanently decidethe paths. One thing I really like about Tree Rex is his Woodpecker. If any path has anything that would make the Woodpecker more useful , I'd get that path.

I picked the Charger Path too. It made him nearly unstoppable. I don't think it's overpowered, but in Story Mode he is quite a brute, (I don't know how how he stands in PvP though). I just maxed him out before quitting for the night, but I'm quite curious how his woodpecker works.
