My son has the original portal and game for the 360. I know all the characters will work on any platform, but I was curious as to if it's a good idea to get the starter pack for the PS3? Games just seem to look better to me on the PS3. I know it won't matter to him. I will be getting the starter pack regardless of what system we want Giants for, since it seems like a good deal for an extra $15 to get 2 figs and another portal. I just didn't know if the Giants game will read anything from a previous Spyro's Adventures save. I would assume that the Giants won't do this, but would hate for him to miss out on bonuses if we did stay on the same platform.

Even if no info is available on my question, I would be open to persuasion regarding the 360 being up to par graphics wise compared to the PS3. I think it may just be the fact that the PS3 has a bluray drive that sways my brain into thinking it MUST look better.

I am 99% sure that there is no difference in the graphics between all consoles(not including the PC),trust me I have the PS3 version myself and I watch a lot of walkthroughs for Skylanders on the Xbox360

Tried looking up the graphics comparisons on the 2 platforms and it seems that the PS3 exclusive titles are the ones that look better (GT, Uncharted, etc.) but the multiplatform games are the same on 360 and PS3. If I do decide to switch to the PS3 anyway, no one could really expect Giants to read from a Adventure save and go from there, ala Mass Effect, right?
