Dose the remodeled skylanders have the ability to use both paths at the same time! I's really puzling me.

Reiche said in an interview that S2 skylanders can switch between upgrade paths. But you cant have them at the same time. Some characters, its impossible to have both because their moves conflict with each other. From what I have seen, it still remains to be seen if the new characters and giants have this ability.
