Series 2 Eruptor [CLOSED]

I am wondering why Eruptor has so many spikes on his head. Is it a upgrade, or something like that?
I'm also wondering if when you put a Series 1 Eruptor on the Giants Portal of Power, will he have his same new appearance, and new voice? Here are 2 videos, showing his appearance, and voice.

I'm guessing since Wrecking Ball's Wow Pow is a disco ball force field,and that's an upgrade on the regular force field ball that Eruptors Wow Pow is an upgrade and he gets the add-ons for free,like Wrecking Ball
