Anyone know if you can preorder the golden cannon pack in person? they just cancelled my online preorder for some reason

Try TRU. I went in my local TRU yesterday. They had a load of giant figures, plus triple packs & the cannon battle pack in stock in there back display. I enquired & they said I can reserve them to pick up along with my starter pack on the 19th.

Same. I was begging my mom to go in there.

one gamestop employee told me if I pre ordered giants I get the golden dragonfire as a pre order bonus when I pick it up, worst case scenario I just return the console at a store with lax return policies like wally world and get store credit to buy a GITD version.

Best thing to do is just go to the store and preorder (and if you have the money, just pay in full)

The way I see it, I won't accidentally forget to bring more money with me (allowing me to purchase other figures if I feel like it) AND you don't have to worry about them cancelling anything.

Only place I'm buying stuff online from now on is Amazon, since they'll very rarely cancel anything, and at least keep you updated on the status of your order. I've had nothing but trouble with TRU when it comes to buying stuff online (either it comes damaged, gets damaged in the mail, or they flat out get rid of the thing) and I'd be willing to be the other online store sites are going to end up having the same thing with Skylanders.

Although I can't say they'll ALL be bad. I bought Cynder from Gamestop's online store and it came in a nice box with a bubble in it to protect it.

Thanks everyone!! It helps out loads because I had everything in sync then I get the "declined" email. Oh well Ive preordered the GITD Starter from walmart and they want me to pay for it it in full. So I have to mosey on over to my closet walmart. they have a gamestop next to it so might as well get the golden cannon preordered again

I pre-ordered this 8/19/2012 and it is still open. Not shipped yet. I just e-mailed customer service about it because it. I'll let you know when I hear back.

I went into the store about a week ago to preorder it. I paid for it in full. I said screw it. Im not dealing with the bank. But I got a text on saturday from gamestop telling me my order was in and I can pick it up It seemed easier and Im gurenteed to have it held till december sometime.

All right. I ordered 8/19/2012 and I just got a confirmation that it has been shipped today. I'll post when I receive the pack.
