Alright, so last year when Skylanders came out, I didn't have enough money to buy it. Then it was around Christmas when my and my bestie Fireball went to some store. We wanted to see what Skylanders they had, and Skylanders was off from $70 to $50! My mom bought me it because it was cheap!

So I'm hoping that they'll do this again. I mean, if they do the exact same thing (which I doubt) it will be $30 instead of $50! (I believe there's a version for it if you already have the portal, right? )

I doubt it, but is anyone else doing this?

skylanders never dropped in price here yet. The best thing i can suggest for you is to buy it second hand when some one gets bored of it. That's how i completed my figure collection since i came into collecting so late.

I'm buying it right away though, since i want everything brand new

There is a portal owners pack. While there may be a christmas time sale on the starter packs, i doubt it will be as drastic as last time. Stores were overstocked last year with starter packs, this time we may see ample yet more conservative stocks to prevent it from happening again.

Actually, the stores I went to never ever had Xbox starter packs.
