Portal of Power for PS3 [CLOSED]

I read a while back ( I think it was on this site) that the portal that comes with Giants will be able to connect to a USB port instead of going through thousands of batteries like the Portal from the first game. I can't seem to get an answer anywhere so does anyone here know?

Yes it has been confirmed that all portals have been wired for the reason you put.

I'm sort of upset I won't be able to move the Portal from room to room now.
On the other hand, I can still move around the old one. smilie

I would buy the full starter pack even if the original portal had a USB port. I'd like to get the extra Skylanders that come with it.

Get the Wii starter pack,for €10 more than the PS3 booster pack you get a better portal,Jet-Vac and I get a Glow in the Dark starter pack for pre-ordering (this is Ireland's first variant!*le rainbow dash Fangirl squeak*) (yes I did say le and yes,I did make a MLP:FIM reference)

this is why I went with a Portal Owner Pack I got this the other day in the mail. I love how it works you can keep your portal wireless and just plug it in when the power gone.
