Let me tell a story...
A couple years ago when Pokemon Black and White was announced, I was super excited for the new games. It sent me into a total Pokemon frenzy. To prepare for the release, I started watching the Pokemon anime again, played through all of my old Pokemon games, checked the Pokemon fansites for leaks multiple times a day. I knew every detail about the game before it came out, I even had my entire team fully planned out, down to every move they would learn. I had been on a hardcore Pokemon kick for months before the games had even come out. Then when the games came out, I got them as soon as the store opened, and played them for the rest of the day. I played it another few days, made it about half way through the story mode. Then I put the game down, and didn't pick it back up for weeks. I had completely burnt myself out on Pokemon before I even got to enjoy the games I had been so excited for.
Anyway, back to Skylanders. I learned my lesson from that release and I won't let myself get burnt out on Skylanders. I'll be on the site for a few more hours tonight, but starting tomorrow, until the release of Giants, I won't allow myself to do anything Skylander related. I'm not going to play Skylanders, log onto DarkSpyro (except to update my YouTube videos), read any Skylanders books or anything else. I don't want anything else game related spoiled for me, and I don't want to burn myself out, so I'm swearing off Skylanders for the next two weeks. If you've seen my YouTube videos, I'll still be making some of those, but other than that, you won't see me for a while.
It's been fun finding out about everything we've learned about Giants with all of you, and I'll miss you guys for the next two weeks.
Peace Out!
