I'm just about buying Skylanders, but I've got some question.

1. How can I know if a figure is for Spyro's Adventure, Giants or both?
2. Is there a co-op? If yes, do I need extra portal?
3. Is this game long?

3. Heck no. The main game takes about 5 hours to beat and each new figure gives you two hours of content, at most. If you want a lengthy game, it's best to skip this, because that's a big department of disappointment.
4. It's on the front of the pack, a highlight in the corner. Series One and Series Two figures work with all the games, Giants only work on Giants, new characters only work on Giants, and LightCores of new characters only work on Giants, but LightCores of old characters work on both.

So, even if the game isn't long is this worth 30 USD?

$30 is probably fair for it, but new figures aren't worth it.

$80 in Australia. I say save your money for another game, that isn't so expensive.
