well i found a glitch kinda like the "get itnto the pirate area thing" this is how it goes.

First you need darkspyro, you compleate the level up untill the part where you battle the first giant pirate(can't remember name) and learn what hapens when he throws down totems.
then, you run up the stairs and ignore the enimies, next, there should be a huge steel crate at the top of the stairs, jump on to it and activate the darkspyro flying glitch(jump into air, do special ice atack(by pressing the triangle buttton) and while doing that, turn into darkspyro)

then you jump into the air facing an red and white flag opisite(???) the cages, press the triangle buttong at the top of your jump and continue this untill you see a health gem on a pile of gold(WARNING:do not stop on any other floating objects as you will fall to your death)

land on the gold and the level will re-apere(??????) ta-dah!

P.s can you tell me if you found this glitch before, if know one has then i would like the credit for it.
