I doubt that, Ghost Roaster didn't look kid friendly either, and he wasn't dropped. We don't know the real reason why that Chinese Dragon Skylander was scrapped.

It was obvious that Drobot wasn't that Chinese Dragon Skylander.. They both have different appearances and color schemes..

Well, I didn't think it was obvious. I thought it was a modeling mistake from the company that made the trailer and not an actual prototype. There wasn't any proof otherwise until just now and neither Toys for Bob nor Panda Panther made any comments on it. Personally, I still think this prototype shares more in common with Drobot than any other released Skylanders.

maybe it was homeage to the scrapped character and they felt attatched to it so they put him in the trailer? it's awesome to know he was definately a skylander though!

oh yeah smilie woops.
about the chinese dragon, it looks like he was the dragon of the earth element, which makes sense also because of no wings, but in the old old spyro's kingdom shots, almost all characters had that kind of base.

if CD was bash's replacement, imagine how flash wing would end up smilie
possibly CD falling for her too.
