To be honest, it just looks like an original series Zap without horns to me. He even has the green base.

no offence but i dont think they are sidekicks. honestly i pray these mini giants are released because they are awesome figures. however the light green base usually represents a prototype. also if you look at the paint scheme they look less 'polished' than released figures.
but if you look at the surrounding figures as someone mentioned above, they are similar sizes to them, same size as kaos and that isnt a kaos sidekick (although that would be awesome)
also the released sidekicks are so small that the paint jobs almost include no detail, simply because the figures are so tiny. because of all this these appear to be the size of regular skylanders, which i hope is true, as they would be baby giants, yet the same size as all the regulars.
