That doesn't mean you can't play Camo, Wham-Shell, Sunburn, Voodood, Ghost Roaster, Boomer, Dino-Rang, and Warnado. You can still play as them in Giants if you have their Series 1 figures.

Yeah, they will NEVER be forgotten. In the next game(if there is one, I hope not) Acti might even make reposes for them.

Why do you home there is not another game.

Honestly, I think there are still too many reposes as it is. Here's what I would have liked. (Not necessarily what they SHOULD have done, but what I'd have liked)

8 Giants all with lightcore technology
8 new regular skylanders
16 series 2 figures.
No regular lightcore figures

This way it's the same number of characters as the first game, and it's an even balance of new characters and old characters. As for which ones they should have picked?

Tech: Trigger Happy and Drobot
Magic: Spyro and Voodood
Water: Gil-Grunt and Slam-Bam (Wham-Shell looks stupid with the spiky armour soul gem, so I'm glad he's not getting reposed)
Fire: Flameslinger and Ignitor
Life: Stump Smash and Zook
Earth: Prism Break and Terrafin
Undead: Cynder and Chop-Chop
Air: Whirlwind and Warnado

That would have been a set of figures I'd have bought all of.

3. Have you seen the cheap effect, though? LightCore Eruptor literally just has a circle of light in his mouth that is visibly a circle rather than looking completely bright.

Magic - Voodood was my favorite Magic from the beginning, so I was pretty upset when Wrecking Ball was chosen over him. But I think because Voodood was already the most powerful down either of his paths, they decided to go with Wrecking Ball.

Earth - Dino-Rang is my number 1 Skylander, and in my opinion, Terrafin should have been put out for this one.

Water - I'm fine with who they chose for Water. Wham-Shell was very powerful down his mace path, and Zap especially needed more powerful attacks, so I think they made the right choice.

Fire - I disagree with this one. Sunburn should have been remodeled. I was disappointed when I found out he couldn't fly, so I was really hoping he would gain the ability in Giants.

Tech - Boomer is my second favorite Tech (Drobot being first), but I can understand why he was not remodeled. Down his earth pound/stun attack, the damage at it's max was somewhere in between one and two hundred. The rest of the Tech needed to be upgraded, especially Drill Sergeant.

Undead - I really liked Ghost Roaster (even though I have the Wii), and he was always a good character for me to use. I probably would have dropped Chop Chop, but I have a pretty equal love for all the Undead characters, so I'm not too upset.

Air - I feel very strongly that Warnado should have replaced Lightning Rod. L-Rod is my least favorite Skylander, so upon hearing that he was chosen over Warnado was a huge disappointment.

Life - I am in love with Camo. He and Zap are (in my opinion) the cutest Skylanders. And he is super fun to play. I probably would have taken either Stump Smash or Zook, because yes, I am a Stealth Elf fan, even though she is overpowered (No haters please).

I still don't get why it's such a huge flippin' deal that Sunburn couldn't fly. I never even thought about it until everyone started pointing it out. Fun fact, until Pokemon Yellow came out, Charizard couldn't learn fly either.

I have 12 figures that are "my crew" and I will constantly use and they're my favs... 4 of them are in this group... Camo, Sunburn, Wham-Shell and Warnado!!! Soooo sad!! Although I must say that I think my least fav figure of all the SA characters has to be Ghost Roaster (sorry GR fans!!), so I personally don't mind him being gone... lol

I can for sure think of reposes for all four of my favs... I don't think that's Activision's problem cause they're designers (like me)... I just think they wanted to make more characters. I'm reeeeally hoping that they for sure bring them back in the third game!!! *fingers crossed*

was the best Undead Skylander there was and he was my ideal type of character I appreciate. When I first saw him, I knew he was gonna be my favorite and three of the 8 kicked out were on my top 10 along with Wham Shell and Voodood. Also to me, these three were some of the most unique characters in the game. Just the designs of and wouldn't make a person think they are good guys, but they are and I like how that goes with the game, showing how anyone can be a Skylander whether you look good or evil because let's all be honest it would be very boring if they all looked like heroes.

Magic: , a boring projectile character with little depth in gameplay.

Earth: Forget you, stupid dinosaur! Severely overpowered and really boring because you have little variation in your moves. The only ability worth buying is the Stone Wall Projection. is so much better than him, go TerraFUN!!!!!

Fire: Flameslinger, super boring written all over his face.

Tech: Twice as overpowered as & but he looks more fun now that he can control his bladegears. I might get his repose anyway even though he doesn't deserve it.

Undead: Just plain boring, and her moves take way too long to perform. Her only good move is her Spectral Blast.

Life: This guy sucks, I don't care what people have to say. I agree with them on removing him.

Water: Personally, is my least favorite water guy. But 's attacks are too strong.

Air: Very overpowered and boring to use, she's overall annoying to play with.

I think it's so weird that Activision showed some uncharacteristic restraint when it comes to the 8 non-reposed figures. I mean, there's NO shortage of new figures/poses/variants, etc. What's 8 more? Especially when these 8 characters a someone's favorite. I mean, there's money to be made (I'd imagine) if they had produced them. And, I still totally don't understand the duplication of series 2 & lightcore options of each element. I mean, why couldn't Dino-Rang (for example) get a series 2 repose and Eruptor could be only lightcore? Seems like they should've done that for each element - then we'd have every character reposed for Giants.

But, with all that said, since there are 8 neglected characters in Giants, I wish they had been as follows (which I guess means, I'm at least 50% happy with the choices they made):
