And STD? If it weren't for STD it would have never led up to the other Spyro games you liked.

Insomniac are the worst artists.

Wow. I've seen people hate the newer Spyro games because Insomniac didn't make them, but never the exact opposite.

If it weren't for Insominiac then the Spyro series would have never been made then past on.Now Spyro is a movie! Well going to be one soon...

You do know Insomniac started the Spyro games and made Spyro popular.If it weren't for them,Spyro wouldn't exist.In fact,sometimes I prefer their games over the new Spyro games.Was StD or the other two the first Spyro game you played?If it wasn't,then I can see why you think those games are bad.Now,the company who made EtD made Spyro look bad,according to many fans.(I liked that game,though.lolz)

I like all Spyro games.If I had to choose one that I least like,I'd say SL.

i hated spyro's look in the new games. the look of spyro was one thing i liked about insomniac's games.

Oh well, I change my mind. Insomniac is good. There, everyone happy now? I still like the new series better though, and nothing is going to change that.

That's better. Besides I haven't even played the old Spyro games. I like the new ones WAY better.

Exactly.You can't say the new games are better when you haven't played the older games.Try to buy a collector's edition off the internet because the Insomniac games rock!

Insomniac Games is my favorite developer EVER! They created Spyro AND Ratchet & Clank. All their games are awesome!

And I like all the Spyro games I've played so far. But I'd bring Insomniac back if I could... They could continue the series very well with the new story and gameplay.

Yeah,it would be interesting to see what Insomniac can do.

To admit the truth,I really don't care about which developer makes the Spyro games.The developers has changed so much,does it really matter anymore?As long as the developers make the games enjoyable and good,I'm fine with them.

if (trying to spell it with out looking at other posts) Insomatic came back they would have probely kept spyro's AHT form.

Games I like: All of them except ETD

Funny I was just playing the game today.(Mostly because I have better every single Spyro game and this is the one I haven't finished yet) I thought it was ok but this has got to be one of the worst Spyro games. They rushed to quickly through it just to get the game out for the holidays (I think that is when it came out gosh I can't remeber ) They left out the charm and every thing else that made the Spyro games good and exciting. It hurt Spyro's rep too. But we should rather look at the positives instead of the negatives.

It has:

Lack of Effort
Boring Gameplay/Script
L-I-V-E-S (Didn't that end years ago???)

Resistance: Fall of Man is pretty good, I always found it strange that Insomniac developed something like Spyro the Dragon and RFoM.

I think gameplay is the most important thing... If I just wanted plot, setting and graphics, I would go watch a movie...

The combat gameplay is a good idea, but the original Spyro games were much more well-done and satisfactory. Insomniac only creates AAA games.

Its just like Mario, the gameplay is the main focus while the plot comes later on.

Original games are too much, emmmm.... You must use right move at right enemy and you kill it by one hit. I think melleeing an enemies is more fun (that combo in air looks epic!!!!!)

Now you used a way better argument...
But anyway, fighting the enemies wasn't supposed to be the most exciting part of the old games, the exploration was. And the exploration was awesome!

Well, the reason why I said "STD is 100% better than ANB" is because of the gameplay. It's a LOT more fun than ANB. And the game is longer too (has more levels and you have items to collect). It's just a fun and addicting kids game. ANB is way too easy and most of that game is story modes...>.> And plus, you only have a few levels to travel, and not really a lot of items to collect. >.> And some of the story modes are way too long. I despise ANB. It's boring.
STD barely has any story modes. The only story modes is at the beginning (which isn't very long) the VERY short ones with freeing the dragons, and the ending when you defeat Gnasty Gnorc or when you complete the game 100%. Plus, STD has speedways (like 5 or 6 different ones) which makes the game more fun because you have more than one level to fly and go through rings and complete this and that. And it's MY opinion about those games...>.<

Lol,I actually hated the speedways...

I find StD funner than ANB also.ANB was just too short and easy.StD was long and hard in some parts(Treetops...ugh!).I'm not saying I don't like ANB,it's just too short.Atleast TEN gave more of a challenge(still too short,also).Hopefully DotD has more exploring and collecting.

I liked YotD more than StD,though.

Same for me,I prefer older Spyro games over new ones though XP

I like the new seires, if i want a good story line, setting and good graphics i would play a game since you can't "Engage" with movies.

The Tree tops was hard for me at first as well, but I got used to it, so I'm pretty good at the level now. I just haven't played the game in years since my old one broke...
YotD is tons of fun too. 8D
