To me I like A New Beginning better, because it had a lot of magical and beautiful levels that made the game nearly a masterpiece. The voice acting was very superb and I love the lines in this game. It just felt like a game that any gamer can pick up and play (like Super Mario 64). And the music was just beautiful.

The Eternal Night was pretty cool, too. It has a lot more replay value and the combat system was pretty fun, too. However, I found the game a little to broading and moody. And the platforming experience is a little glitchy. Still it is a fun game, though.

Strange, the Wii version of The Eternal Night was far from glitchy. That said, the whole experience between that and A New Beginning pretty much shows how the latest addition overpowered its predecessor in every single way. Sure, the atmosphere might be moody but that's just a cosmetic thing - we play games to have fun, and that's all that matters to me.

TEN, I'm a darker person, plus ANB was too easy, with or without the cheats.

Also, TEN actually had EXTRAS, not just the credits and an interview. It also had collectables, more bosses (usually more difficult too), and new enemies. X3

The GBA version of TEN was the best. It provided everything people wanted in the console game, but never got: difficulty levels, challenging bosses, and a map with the ability to revisit levels. Hard mode was insanely difficult, and the Dark Spyro mode was just a fun little bonus at the end!

TEN, I think (the cosole version). ANB was great, but TEN was much more of a challenge.
