Confirmed: Lightcore S2 Skylanders will not work in S:SA [CLOSED]

As you can see, There is an X under S:SA. Since activision made these trailers, This is basically confirmed already.
Any further evidence please post here. Any counter-arguments with provided evidence also post here.

We actually saw that on the leaked video where we saw the packaging for the figures (The LC Prism Break had the exact same logo)

There was a post by someone where they asked the question to someone at a con or something and were told they would work. It makes sense that they'd put that though because they won't do the big explosion when they first enter the level.

I think we might just have to see for this one.

Maybe they act as normal figures, no explosion, but light up?

Someone at Activision tried LC Prism Break for me on a S:SA for Wii. When placed on the portal, the figure still lights up, but appears in the game as regular Prism Break.
