Dear Dark,
I believe that we should be able to transfer gems to different accounts. Some people might hate their usernames, so they would like to change, but they don't want to lose their gem count. If we could transfer gems, it would help a lot of people who want to change their usernames. Or, you could just make it able to change your username. Pease consider these ideas.
Sincerely,
Joerox123

As long as it was a one-time thing or something I'm all for it. Also make it so that the old account shows which new one the gems were sent to.

This is the same as name changing.

You're keeping the gems.
People don't switch accounts because they care about their gems. If this became true, then we will have everybody switching accounts because there will be no loss. You are just basically changing names. |

^Yu can only change once, I once had a backup account: SnivyLover, then wanted a real new account, and nothing.

So you basically want to change names. Just once.
The thing is, he denied it. There has been many people trying to get name changes. Either way, it's not up to me. I'm just saying that the whole thing it's just like name changing. |

Well I hope Dark has sympathy on you.
Though I don't think it'll happen because then more and more users will keep asking for it. |

Also, don't forget another feature that remains unimplimented: Genders on posts. It's been promised for a long time too.

I don't respect him at all either, I honestly am just starting to think he's too lazy to bother with most features are forum SHOULD have. |

Nope, no gem transfers. Changing your user name is discouraged so making it easier to do is not something I intend to help with.

They're mostly just my personal preference to what I want the forum to be like. Signatures get too bulky on other sites, you have plenty of room for a text signature, use url shorteners if you need to use a link or two. Underlining is a pointless feature on the web for anything other than links, it has no use in a forum post that bold or italics can't convey. What would be the use of letting people choose their own fonts? All you'd get is a mismatching mess with silly fonts and people being different just because they want to stand out. I don't know what you think "guest post editing" means but it is completely irrelevant nowadays as guests cannot post. Privacy issues, being able to track users all over the site and see where they are just seems creepy. All you need to know is whether they're online or offline. Quote: Nibelilt
I've just never been able to work out a way to do so neatly. An icon? Problem is where to put it and what it should be. Text? An entire line would stand out too much.

If for any reason you're not completely satisfied, I hate you. |

Or right next to the name.
A small icon that's noticeable but won't change any space in Posts. |

I'll mock something up today.
Can't go next to usernames because the 17-letter ones would make page stretch. I imagine it next to Sparx level. Makes more sense than next to Gem Count, isn't too big, and will never stretch. With the gender symbols in my sig. |

Sess, if I may answer your second question, I would like to say that the signatures have been increased before. I think it's been increased twice(I'm not well with this Forum's history). Imagine if we increase it now, then later someone will ask the same thing. Let's supposed it's increased again, then again, and again. It's best to stop somewhere. Do you understand what I mean?
