Viruses hidden on the site? [CLOSED]

So, guess what? Like four different anti spyware type programs downloaded and installed themselves to my computer last night (WHEN IT WAS OFF!). I've got trojan viruses/threats screwing with it and-- *uninstalls Internet Explorer since it keeps opening to some sort of anti virus site*-- other sorts of annoyances. I've got a virus tracker sort of thing in this browser (from AT&T Yahoo) and it says that about half a dozen of the threats are from here. Now, I don't doubt that knowing that this is one of my three home pages.

Any thing to explain how and why viruses would be here?

...Also, I called my dad and told him to get an anti spyware program on his way home from work.

Don't think there are viruses on this website...the anti-spyware program you're using might be alarmed because it is detecting tracking cookies, which are common in many websites. It keeps track of some personal information like logging on this site with a password. Some tracking cookies track your personal information for malicious intentions, though. In any case, the program you used might be picking this up, but I don't recall of anything harmful on this site.

If you do have an actual trojan or virus, try Combofix. I had a bad trojan recently that I just couldn't get rid of, so I called Microsoft Help Desk, and they instructed me to download this program called Combofix. Sure enough, those porn/casino/diet popups disappeared. Download Combofix here: http://icrontic.com/forum/showthread.php?t=55039
That program, unlike many others, actually worked for me. Try it.

What? You can't download Combofix? K, here. I'll upload the program on yousendit. Hope that'll work. Anyways, when you download it, the program icon should be a red circle with an "X" on it. That's Combofix.
Note: Combofix is best used in Safe Mode. You can go to safe mode in windows by pressing F8 when your computer starts to boot up right after opening up your computer.

Funny... AVG Anti-Virus doesn't detect any abnormalities on this site at the moment. And I'm using the glitchy Firefox 3. >.>

That's gotta be THE worst suggestion ever. You NEVER let viruses stay on your computer.

:/ I rarely get viruses. This is the second time, and last time was just a tiny problem that I got rid of myself.

>.< And it didn't work last time. I still have problems... might end up having to wipe the hard drive. Depends on if we can get rid of them if we haven't already.

Nope, still got 'em. Can't download spyware stuff still.

HOW IS MINE THE WORST SUGGESTION EVER! IT WORKED FINE WITH ME! It doesn't leave the virus on the computer it goes back in time (Not literaly) to before you had the virus so it gets rid of it. Don't ask me how it works, all I know is that it gets rid of the virus.

My AVG dont find any viruses, too. I only have glitches at my PC, and its only from badly instaled programs.

That's called a PC Recovery or something, not just setting back the time.
