Why eould you waste money on something you ight already have?

The Series 2 figures have Wow Pow powers. The LightCores light up on the Portal and in the game.

I can't call it a complete waste of money.

And if you don't have them?

I'll probably be doing the same thing.

I am getting the reposes of my faves, lightcores i like, and new ones.

I'm trying to get alot of those actually, only reason being my wii u series I'm doing.

If I wasn't making the series, then I would probably buy the new lightcore skylanders and one or two reposes. I wouldn't really care.

Getting new ones. I have all skylanders, and my wallet is still recovering from Spyros Adventure

But Then I Reconsidered, Eventhough I Am Getting All The Lightcores Since There Are Only 8 of Them, I Doubt I Will Get All 24 Reposes Since I Already Have All 32 Previous Skylanders.

I don't have to worry about that since I only had 15 (19 counting EoI and Magic Items and my missing Drobot... so I don't have to get constipated Drobot) of the originals and I might not even get all 24 reposes.

EoI stands for Empire of Ice by the way

I'll be preordering Giants soon (probably with my next paycheck), I just need to figure out where to get it from since I have all of the current Legendaries and am hopefully getting a Blue Bash. I'll probably still go with TRU once they release what Giant you can buy on release day. I'll also be picking up all of the Giants as they come out as well as the new Skylanders. I'll be passing on all of the reposes as well as the Lightcores probably.

I was super late getting into the game seeing as how I just got the game started this weekend even though I've been collecting figures for the past month (I only have about 5 or so more to go before I have a complete set, woot!). I'm hooked now though and will no doubt be preordering so that I can jump into this hype right when everyone else does this time around to see how crazy it'll be to complete my set, haha.

Not really a waste. They do something either, physically or in-game. Another reason to buy might be for the new poses

I want the Lightcores, but I'm still not sure about the other reposes. I kind of wish they weren't making them again.

I'll just get S2 Spyro (loyal fan till death) and S2 Stealth Elf (the only element I don't have yet is Life, also others suck). Any other S2's, LC's and Giants (except Tree Rex) in my house will be thrown out.

What you can do is buy the reposes, then sell your first set. Since the first generation 'landers won't be made anymore, they will be worth more.

You are spending three bucks more for something that lights up, sparkles in-game, and just comes n with a crash once a level.
They don't even work in SSA.

I like the idea of the light cores. I also like the look of the series 2 characters.

I am however upset that there doesn't seem to be that many new skylanders.
I am REALLY disappointed in the fact that there are light core series 2 characters. Like prism break.
So now I have to buy 3 prism breaks. 1 series 1. 1 series 2. And 1 light core.

Do we know if the light core series 2 characters will have everything the normal series 2 have, plus the explosion on entering?

^I think it was said in a video of LC Prism Break that the sounds of his attacks and stats are different and there's rumour they have no wow pow upgrade/attack. Also, if you're getting Series 2, there's no point getting Series 1 (unless you prefer poses, but in-game, Series 2 are better).

The LightCores are really an advance in technology, so that makes them cool, but the reposes are ok.

IMO instead of all the reposes and LightCores and whatnot I would have liked the following.

16 Giants (Because choice is good)
8 Newlanders (Because otherwise people would complain)

And that's it. It would give them a continued opportunity to release them in decent waves while not being overly massive or redundant.

I'm just going to collect what on the poster that what I did last time. So I won't buy any Exclusive, Legendarys and Variants. I'm happy I got $12.00 off the starter pack with free shipping.
