SPOILER!well hes the only one who limps and he was the only guardian to escape from Cynder's forces at the beginning of the game!and the other guardians don't limp and they got over run by Cynder's forces and Ignitus escaped!END OF SPOILERS!

Ignatius' limp is weird when you think that Volteer and Cyril and Terrador are pretty much ok.

Yeh I noticed he was limping but I thought that was bad animation. He might have got it during the war with baboons.

Actually, Red Spyro, Legend of Spyro is a reboot and a reboot usually means that the original series is done. This game is the start of a brand new series... at least that is what I have heard from one of my contacts over at Universal. This game has nothing to do with the original series... Ha ha... like that is going to stop me from merging both universes together with my ongoing Spyro: Dragon of Destiny Series and its many spinoffs that are being planned.

So I am sorry, Red Spyro, but this game is exactly what the title calls it... A New Beginning as in everything that has gone before is now in the garbage. Thanks alot Universal & Krome!

I think we all knew when we came this site that the games are split up by versions and each version ignores the other versions.

Ive checked for spyro spinoffs and there isn't unless you mean by era and also this site would talk about the spinoffs but they don't so there isn't.

Hmm. I don't like to leave loose ends. They should:

a) End the original Spyro series properly.
b) Explain why Ignatius limps!

If you want to hear about a drunk dragon read the book Eldest in the chapter Saphira's Promise on the last few pages (of the chapter). Eragon roars like a dragon! its funny and Saphira (the dragon) falls over! lol!

Nope, that's in the beginning of Eldest. *SPOILERS* It's after the battle of Farthen Dur and after Saphia promises to mend the Star Rose Crystal in Tronjheim. The dwarves are having a celebration because of this and when Orik toats Eragon and Saphira (after Eragon's been singing in a dagon's voice) Saphira tries to bow but falls over backwards!

I think that's what Blue Fire said, as *spoilers* Saphira's Promise is one of the first chapters in Eldest.
