I heard something about instant respawning in this game. Does anyone know if this is true?

If by respawning you mean backtracking than the answer to your qeustion is yes. It has been stated by many gaming sites and the producers themselves. I think you can backtrack by simply selecting the area on a "Map" or just simply going back there on foot. I think...

No, I mean when you die, you'll reappear after a very short period of time (either as the other dragon or as the one you were using).

Ugh, ANB...*headpalm* Didn't like that one...
On the other hand, they could just make the game harder or something. xD I played a game with respawning. I haven't finished it yet. 0.o

Well, maybe you have to play as the other dragon while the other goes through a respawning time limit. If the other dragon dies it's a gameover. Might actually be hard, I assume since there are two dragons the battles will be made for two dragons, so fighting as one for a bit might be challenging.
