If this thread MUST be closed i'd appreciate some answers in my inbox. I'm sure all these questions have been answered but I can't find them.

Are the 3DS and Console versions both the same? If not, what the hack am I going to do with TWO Tree Rex? Why wouldn't they make an exclusive Giant for 3DS?

I have to buy the Starter pack to get Jet-Vac or will he be available as a single? (it's almost worth it to get the extra portal and Cynder because it's 15 more and Jet-Vac will cost me 10 as a single...is that what most people will be buying?

Which then means that i'm going to now have TWO more Cynders that come in the Starter packs...

So basically my questions are does Jet-Vac come in single packs and is the 3DS version the same as the console this time around?
Also, are most people just buying the starter pack because it's just purely a better deal?

1: He will be available in a single pack but we don't know in what wave smilie But I preordered the Starter Pack although smilie
2: I don't know
3: 50% of the people probably, cause for only 10/20/30 euros more it's better buying it: you get Jet-Vac earlier and you ensure that Jet-Vac is not out of stock cause you have it, you can sell Cynder and the Portal too if you don't want them and gain extra money smilie

I'm just going to sum up a few things here, no links as I'm posting from my iPod right now.

Jet Vac in single? Yes he has been confirmed in the first wave as a Lightcore, unknown if he will be released as a regular.

3DS version? Assume it to be like SA on 3DS. A single player adventure game with some possible Street/Spotpass features.

What to do with an extra Tree Rex? Up to you really, paint it, sell it, customise it or rip it apart are good options.

Why not an exclusive Giant for 3DS? That's got Punch Pop Fizz, that it or leave it really. Only Activision know why they did this.

Why buy a Starter pack? Mostly for the figures and possible pre-order bonuses.

Well we don't know yet possibly not the same

Yes they will all be in single pack

Tree rex is silly not to have a varient in the three ds would make more sense then a punch pop fizz but hey can't have everything

The first was not, and the screenshots are different again, so it's safe to say NO. You could articulate or repaint the second Tree Rex if you wanted. As for why not another Giant pick- it's Activision, Nintendo Logic is like science compared to some of their choices.

As has been said, Jet-Vac in a Single is not happening, only his LightCore version, but it will come out straight away. Personally I'm buying the Starter Pack to open for all three versions I want: Wii, 3DS and Wii U, just because it isn't much more to pay, yet you can do a lot with the extra figures/Portals.

Which then means that i'm going to now have TWO more Cynders that come in the Starter packs...

Yes, it's very annoying. They thought terribly over the Game Packs! smilie They are different from old Cynder figures though in that they get another attack and a different figure pose.

So basically my questions are does Jet-Vac come in single packs and is the 3DS version the same as the console this time around?

LightCore only as we know and No.

I honestly do not expect a regular single Jet-Vac outside the starter pack. However, day one release will likely include both LC Jet-Vac and legendary Jet-Vac in the TRU ex 3 pack so there are options.

Its been confirmed that there is a starter variant for preorder in EU wit a GTID Cynder I am waiting to see if one of the chains announces a similar exclusive in the states.

You are paying an extra $15 in the US for a starter pack and recieve what is likely an exclusive Jet-Vac, an extra S2 Cynder and a backup wired portal I think most will be going this way

Thanks for all the answers everyone smilie helped me out a bit.

I might buy the 3DS Starter Pack and then the Wii PoP and just buy Jet-vac separate.

Or I might just buy the 3DS pack now and wait for the WiiU release? I can't see the WiiU game being different from the regular console version, but who knows?

Unless there comes some really good Pre-Order bonuses I might just wait to buy the game all together for the Wii U. I don't see the game being scarce in quantity at any time due to the high demand and i'd rather have it on a shiny new system with cool new features.

I'll probably buy the characters because those WILL be scarce at times and just save them until the Wii U version is released (or use them on the 3DS in the meantime)

Anyways thanks for all the help! Hopefully we get a WiiU release date soon after the WiiU system release date!

Well I can give you the tidbit the Wii U will definetly be out in December. smilie

The only pre-order bonus we know comes with a glow-in-the-dark-Cynder and glow-in-the-dark-Portal which is exclusive to GAME and is only for the console versions.

I'm just going to buy the Wii version, and return it when the Wii U one comes out! smilie
