If you wondering where I was for the last week, I was in Egypt :>

Anyways, Gamesmaster a UK gaming magazine who recently published there 200th issue done a poll on the "100 greatest games characters of all time."

To my total surprise Spyro made it to number 10, beating such characters like Rachet, Kirby, Bowser, Samus, Phoenix Wright, Sora, Minda, Zelda, Homer, Kratos, Tails, Shadow, Dante, Leon, Luigi and even Nikko from GTA 4.

The top 10 characters were.

10. Spyro
9. Lara Croft
8. Yoshi
7. Cloud Strife
6. Snake
5. Master Chief
4. Crash
3. Link
2. Sonic
1. Mario (BIG SURPRISE)

Sadly Fox was not there and Sipply was not even in the top 5 worst characters of all time >.<

Well, I do play alot of Crash games, (when I'm not playing Spyro or Guitar Hero,) and they're pretty good.

i knew Mario was REALY popular, but i didnt think he'd be tvhe number 1 fave character (o.o)

The game characters I like most from seeing on Blackholes_Wolf's post is(in no order):
Sonic, Shadow, Tails, Ratchet, Sora, Link, and Spyro (of course).

a game about a girl called Lara Croft that goes on adventures (a little like James Bond 007 but not as much in towns, more in jungles) in ancient places and u get a gun and u have to shoot bears, wolves and loads of stuff! its awesome!!

Hmmm...disappointed that Kirby isn't on the top ten,but whatever.I'm surprised at Spyro getting in the top ten atleast!Shows that our purple friend is still loved even after EtD.:)

Well, that's a good thing to know. I still think he should've beaten Crash..

I think the main reason why it got such bad review is that it was released around the same time as Super Mario galaxy, nobody gave a hell about Spyro.

^I don't play a lot of Final Fantasy games, but I do have Kingdom Hearts II and if I remember straight, I think Cloud said that Sephiroth was his dark side or something like that. And I don't recall seeing him and Cloud battling in the game before, but you DO have to battle Sephiroth with Sora in the game. He's too damn hard! >.<

No matter what,Mario will probably always be #1,followed by another Nintendo character or something.Just accept the truth and move on.Atleast Spyro is in the top ten,which is very good!

Yes... let's face it. There are some very big characters that don't look like they're going to get knocked off their high horses any time soon (Mario, Sonic, Link, etc).

I thought that Kirby would be up there.....oh well.V_V

Lots of people talk about Halo here. -.- Weird...

TEN? Hard? I found it as one of the easiest games ever! (Apart from ANB )

I am surprised at Spyro being up there...I feel like I am the only person in Aus who likes it! xDD

TEN is frusterating at some parts,but it gets easy as you go on.Giving the game a 49% just because of difficulty is just ridiculus.TT
