Chapter 1 the cave of no return
“Vool wake up”. Vool hears the voice. It’s his mother. Today is the day the quest into the cave begins. Its in ork culture. When the young get to a certain age they must go to the cave of no return and make it out alive. In many cases there are murders in the caves. Its sort of a compition the first one out gets a place in the council. So many other orks kill each other to make it out. Its legal. The others watch what we do on television screens. Vool had been dreading this day for months. But he knew he must do what he must do. He got up and headed to the town square. All the other orks where there. There was a stage with the chief ork standing on it.
“citizens of orcla.” He said “Today is the day of the trial” [the audience cheered
“100 years ago when are people first came to this land we had to go through the cave, and now the new generation must go in our footsteps!” [audience cheered] The vool and the other orks walked down to the entrance of the cave. He steped inside.
