Just going on pure assumption that he'll be a terrible character, isn't exactly the best way to go about it. I mean thats your call or whatever, but I think you should wait till the game is out before making a defined judgment call.

^ This. Glad to know that I'm not the only one who thinks this.

I tend to play as the characters I think are cool regardless of their usefulness in-game. I really like Jet-Vac's character design and figure, so I'll be using him. I'd rather have him as my new Air element than Swarm. Swarm looks like the Honey Nut Cheerios Bee on steroids. Jet-Vac looks like Falco crossed with that chicken captain from the Revenge of Meta-Knight game in Kirby Super Star. You know, that guy who piloted the Halberd? I always liked that guy even though he had such a minor presence in the Kirby series. : )

Ratchet has a suck-cannon....which might be some sort of vacuum gun.

TFB is trying to aim for a larger audience than just spyro fans.

besides you might like him. I hated trigger happy at first but he grew on me(like a fungus).

who knows he might be pretty fun to play as.

Scottish has long been an ethnicity associated with engineering and ingenuity- hence JetVac is Scottish.
Unless you want all Skylanders to be *insert your ethnicity here* because you cannot cope with anything outside of your own blinkered, narrow view of the world.

I actually like his Scottish accent and it's really the only reason I can stomach him. I always imagined him with a British accent though... Saying "Tally crow" in a deep voice

i quite like jet vac and why do you hate scottish accents they are AWESOME and ingame he actually has an american voice and in 1 video (i think his gameplay one by pennyman) he say 'Hawk them all' (or 'f them all') it sounds like that though

i am saying that i dont like how one of the charactes has a scottish accent, tell me one skylandr in the game that has an accent on like british or french, hmm? they all are technically normal when all of a sudden,scottish bird with a vaccum cleaner and a jetpac!

Nothing wrong with Scottish accents, or any accent, that is different than American.

Ninja, you'll really dislike people who have Scottish accents if you don't like a character cause of his Scottish accent.

Zook has an Australian accent in the ads, while he has a Jamaican accent in the game.

Trigger Happy has a Russian accent in the ads.

Think, dude, you are raging over a character because of an accent he has.

^That's a really silly/ridiculous reason to hate a character, all because of his accent. Even if you don't like Jet-Vac's accent, you reveal that your relative is Scottish too and you tolerate him.

And some of the members here might be Scottish too, and they might take offensive to your comment regarding Scottish accents, especially if a game character has one. Did you think that through?

Dinorang is supposed to have an Aussie accent in the game (given the boomerang angle).

Skylanders would have landed all over the world when sent here so may have picked up local accents?
