many questions about this game but this is the most relevant, why baboons? why not ressucited killed monsters if they want scares, why not customized rhynocs? besides, why rhynocs are called rhynocs, just for have a horn up their noses?

baboons are so weird! i don't even like monkeys and stuff like that. but they don't look that bad. what i was picturing the Dark Master as was a dragon. A black dragon with purple wings. do you think they will reveal what the Dark master looks like in The Eternal Night? actually, maybe they will in the 3rd game in the LoS series. idk. (lol)

the baboons get on my bloody nerves and drive me bananas... and fox, you avatar makes me wish the baboons were under that hammer

Am I the only one who actually likes the baboons? I never got tired of hearing their crazy noises and beating the snot out of them. They weren't the only enemies (robot scorpions, bat-dragon things that screamed, mushroom things, those hard-to-kill skeletons in armor...)

We now know that the majority of enemies are baboons because Gaul is one himself. What significance this has is a mystery still, but now that we know who the biggest followers of the Dark Master are (apes) it makes sense.

Personally, I think some of the bigger baboons resemble some of the bigger Gnorcs from the early Spyro. I never payed much attention to the enemies, though. All I know is that they looked awesome-weird and were made of lovely bright colors that wanted to kill me.

yeah... i like their little noises... but besides that they drove me nuts....

I got tired of getting my butt kicked by them, but that happens with any game for me. The screaming bat things were cooler (and more often got thrown over cliff edges, my favorite maneuver >D).

I love the dreadwings! I have to try freezing them next time I play ANB... mmm.... bat ice lollies....

I did say I hate/love the baboons though. I hate them because they annoy me sometimes. I love them because you can beat the **** out of them!

I hated the scorpions (something beetles)! I tried to avoid them as much as possible!

Yeah I hate the scorpions too. I save my furys for the bit where you have to face three at once.

Man, those robot scorpions were a nightmare! I hated the part where you have to fight three at once. The part where you can just chuck them over the edge of that cliff was awesome, though.

I like spiders as far as that they serve a needed purpose in the environment, but the time one landed on my head was pushing that liking a bit too far. o.O

I could go on a huge, nerdy tirade about the importance of spiders to the environment, but I'll spare you all. See, this is what happens when you're born a nerd and you're favorite shows are nature documentaries.

Hey I watch nature documentaries! And interest ones (usually on dragons - the existence of or not - and lost cities such as Atlantis). Why do the best ones have to be on the HD channels that I don't have? WHY?

I will watch anything if it looks like a good documentary. No joke, I've made my fiance sit through a documentary about the history of the New York sewer system. The history of the New York sewer system! What is wrong with me?! We also watched the history of tea.

My favorite show when I was a wee thing was PBS Nova. And while all the other kids were reading "The Stupids" I was the only one in the nature books section. In middle school, I was reading books by naturalist Joy Adams and paleontology books that most college students wouldn't touch. *sigh* Those were the good old days...
