I know people have been getting their sidekicks already and I must ask, it's not too late to send in the mail my paper to get them, right? I really hope it's not.

Yup, it goes on til November 2nd I believe, and the mail has to be postmarked by Nov 12th.

We're actually all getting our Sidekicks super early. Like 4-6 weeks early. The contest originally said shipping would take 8-10 weeks!

If Frito Lay cashed my checks (for the $2 shipping/handling), does that mean they shipped it that day already? Thanks.

I called them yesterday and asked when is my Gil Runt going to arrive and they said that it will take 8-10 weeks

The promotion goes until the middle of november. It takes 8-10 weeks because of the number of requests and the fact that they have to read each card and hand pick/package the sidekicks. A cashed check does not mean tgey are shipping yet, they won't even pick out your sidekick until your check has cleared.

@tmentius, I've mailed in my Sidekicks order form with a money order last week on Monday and I heven't gotten my Gill Runt

i mailed mine in at the begining of September and they are just now being processed. also, you aren't Guaranteed gil runt, he may be your first choice but they will send what they have available at the time. 8-10 weeks is 2 months, it takes time.

But why are others getting theirs faster?

i've never heard of anyone getting theirs in under a month. This contest has been going on since july, so the people who sent them in then got theirs earlier.

I'm talking about the Sidekicks as I've read a few posts that some people have received their Sidekicks less than 1-2 months

I probably sent out for my Gill Runt about a month and a half ago and it just arrived today. Be patient.

Just remember Frito-lay/young america is processing a lot of requests. I cant gurantee the notion "the earlier you get it in" because I recieved mine, all four without doubles, before others that sent in there requests before me. But I got mine in August sometime I believe. If it helps. I sent them in on July 11th and got them mid-end of august.
