Anyone going to get giants and some figures first day? For me, I might have to wait a week or 2, but I will start buying the figures as soon as my walmart gets them. My walmart told me to expect the figures to arrive about October 15-20th. They don't follow the street date policy so as soon as something arrives, they stock it.

I've already got Giants pre-ordered from GameStop for the 360 and the 3DS, as well as the GS Exclusive Battle Pack, so I'll pick all of those up on release day.

I'll probably start stalking all of the stores that carry Skylanders figures about two weeks before the game comes out, just to see if any of them break the street date.

I've seen the skylander shipment boxes as my sam's club just puts the boxes besides the 3 packs when their full on the shelf. Itjust says the name of whats in it like "SKYLANDERS SPYROS ADVENTURE SINGLE PACK ASSORTMENT" and the quantity which is always 6.

I plan to get to GameStop before it opens so if they have extras I will have the pick of the box

i am going to toys r us 30 minutes early on release day buying booster pack and as much figures as possible

l'm going to get to the shops as early as l can on release day and buy all the giants a new figures there

I didn't realize Wal-Marts being next to GameStops were so common. lol. Do you two live in the same town as me?

After that, I'll head over to Toys R' Us and the other GameStop in my town to check for more new figures, as well as Target, Best Buy, the second Wal-Mart, and the third GameStop in my town.... I think that's everything. lol. I certainly be busy running around once this new game comes out!

Ah, nevermind then, I'm from Florida. I guess there is some wierd GameStop/Wal-Mart partnership.

Walmart may have them out first, so I'll go there first and just hang out early in the morning, then race to target as soon as the doors open, then best buy, then game stop where I have my preorder. I feel I should be able to grab them all.

I have preordered the Starter Pack even thought I have a portal and I am going to preorder the battle pack. I am getting the starter pack because it comes with 3 skylanders and the portal owners pack only has 1. I am going to get as many of the giants on the first day. My hopes are to get 8 skylanders total on the first day. That would mean that I would have 1/6 of all of the skylanders on the first day.

There is no release date for the figures themselves, but for the game there is one.

And for the game, there is usually a date on the boxe stating when they are allowed to put them on the shelves.

im getting a character from each element on the first day then getting more each day after

I already have Jet-Vac and Pop Fizz preordered thanks to eBay. The guy said he will get a large shippment a week before the game comes out..

But anyway, I will buy everything I see!

Idk if I'm even going to target or BB.mthey are close though so maybe.

I have a 3DS Starter Pack and an X360 Starter Pack ordered.

Hoping I'll be able to have them not too long after the game comes out. I'll be able to buy some figures day 1 still.

Yeah, I did the same thing as you. I wanted all of the figures even though I already have a portal... I wish they would've put a different Series 2 figure in one of the Starter Packs though, I don't really want two reposed Cynders... :/

While we're ranting about the starter/booster packs, can I just say how annoyed I was when I learned that the ONLY figure in the Portal Owner's Pack was Tree-Rex?! Now I'm stuck paying extra for two extra Portals and a reposed Cynder just because I wanted to get my hands on Jet-Vac and Pop Fizz right away...

If you are just getting the starter pack for the characters you might want to rethink your needs.

The german amazon leak indicated both a single figure release and and a triple pack (along with Trigger Happy and Whirlwind)early in Pop-Fizz(es) lifespan.

In addition we got indication of a lightcore Jet-Vac release.

We didn't see anything about Cynder but this still gives people options

As a side note I don't think I have seen confirmation of a 3DS portal owner pack can anyone confirm this

I didn't preorder. Beg my mom and dad to take me to a place that has the game.
Buy game.
Buy figures that are left.

Actually, forget that. Get game for birthday or Christmas so I don't spend $60.00.
Buy figures.
