So, it's not anymore a secret that Ripto's name came from the Japanese title of the first Spyro the Dragon. But the interesting and funny thing is that "Ripto" was a Greek verb! In fact, since at school I study Greek (ancient) and Latin, when I opened my vocabulary and searched a verb, accidentally I found the verb "ripto", which means "throw away".

Funny eh?
