Which path do you favour for Hex?

Do you prefer to upgrade her Phantom Orbs or her Skull Rain and Wall of Bones abilities?

You can check out Hex's upgrades list to remember which upgrades are from where.

I haven't tried the Orb path yet but I'll just pick it. Has to be much better than the awful Bone Crafter.

Orb path is horrible,Bomecrafter is better by a milestone.

Don't get all the Bone Crafter love. Horribly outclassed by Zook... Which would be fine, but the Skull Rain is interruptible, slow and misses a lot. Somepony please tell me how to use her smilie

Bone Crafter all the way,but my future Series 2 Hex might go by the Shade Master path to balance it out.Unlike someone here said,Storm of Skulls isn't interruptible,if you stop as soon as some of the skulls are ready,she fires them anyway,but it requires a lot of timing and practice to use the attack to its full potential,not to mention the many uses of the Wall of Bones,be it protecting her from rapid fire or the slight knockback from summoning it at the right time.
And,if that's not enough,Shade Master makes her slower to attack. No matter the increased damage,it's no use if she can't even defend herself in time - she's already too slow to dodge and relies in knockback.

Thing is, Skulls might not be interruptible, but are easy to dodge and do little damage even firing all four. If you DO get hit, even once, by accident, she's... *puts on shades* Boned.
Wall of Bones is useless. It only soaks up 50 damage and does very little in return. Only good for Story.

Shade Master may be slower, but it must also be more powerful. Hex's big problem is that she does basically no damage at all and her attacks are one of the few sets extremely easy to dodge.

I have a question about skylanders sidekicks. What are the different waves about? Can you only get one of the sidekicks in the two weeks the wave happens? If not, what are the wave for? Also Bone Crafter is a good path. thanks.

Well,combining a Ranged Attacker with slow movement is just asking for a bad character.I don't do PVP,but I know she's not that good in there after seeing Chop Chop mauling her to bits in Lair of Kaos. However, as I said,it all depends on timing.Most Shadow Knights in the Undead levels didn't even see the Wall coming from under them because of the speed and the sucessive damage...But in all honesty,Hex only has a chance as Bone Crafter against another slow character with little to no melee. I just hope they at least give her an useful Wow Pow in the sequel.
