I was looking for information on DOTD when I spotted this website and I saw it give the Rating. Here's a link:

I hope this will finally discuss the Rating problem (I had expected it to be rated "E10" or T).

They're wrong. ESRB (or whatever it is) hasn't given Sierra the rating yet. I don't think they've even finished making the game yet.
I should know, I asked them on the Q&A on the Sierra forums.

There probably just guessing, I mean every other Legend Of Spyro series games, have been rated E-10+, So they wouldn't just make this one E. Plus this site also says the release date is October 7, where when they released the boxart they said it is October 28. So I say they are just trying to guess.

Hey, some games are rated "T" or "M" just because of the violence.
smilie I know it's a bit weird. One time, I got a game that was rated "T"
and all you did was knock bad guys out. No blood, guts, anything like that. smilie

Personally, I too want it rated E+10 at the least.

Personally I think it's rated T for

  • fantasy violence
  • animated blood
  • crude humor
  • mild language

the game screens make it seem like that there is going to be this much content.

There's nothing wrong with it being 'T'. In Australia, 'T' is 'M', by the way. It won't stop younger kids playing it either.
