Wording is a little confusing...is the deal ONLY on the shown characters? Could be a good deal for those looking to flesh out their collections. Excludes used/trade-in figures.

From the wording, I interpret it to mean that you can choose between Drobot, Whirlwind, and Drill Sergeant for the "Get 1 Free" part.

Went on the website and its any figure that is in stock. If you go to the skylanders page on Gamestop, and head to single packs, it says buy 2 get 1 free.

It should be any figure, not just the assortment shown. Especially since the "not valid on pre-played characters" rules out Spyro....
