In this screenshot, (http://www.darkspyro.net/dawn/gallery/images/gallery055.jpg) they show a number of hits. Perhaps this is a combo counter of some sort? Post your opinions.

i doubt it. they probably wouldn't actually show how many hits until the enemy is dead. That would make the game a whole lot easier.

In the interview it said it was a hit counter and more hits = bigger number off gems for the kill.

If you have ever played "Crash of the Titans" then it will just be a counter...And maybe there won't be any enemy health bars in the game. *shrugs* Again, like Crash. smilie

It WILL be a hit counter. Gwenio is right; the more hits you land, the more gems you get.
