PROLOGUE
One day there was an egg, a small blue and red egg. It started to crack a little. The father looked over the egg. "Your mother should be here to see this." the eggs father sighed "but no point dwelling in the past."
The egg continued to crack slowly bit by bit until, a tiny little head poked out the head of a dragon. Small and precious. "Your as blue as the sea and as beautiful as your mother, your name shall be Syren."
This is where Syrens adventure started...

More will be unveiled in the first chapter (most likely coming tomorrow or day after) I would love to have comments be as harsh as you like, that's the only way i will get better...

Ok...THIS SUCKS!!! Good? xD Nah jk, but the intro is a bit neutral. So like, it's some what original.

EDIT: I love the names though, they are very unique, and yes, the story sounds interesting already. xD

Chapter 1
12 years later...
Syren bounded through the long luscious grass, under the hot summer sun. She started to flap her large wings running faster and faster as the air whipped around her face, slowly her paws started to lift off the ground. "I...can...do..it!" growled Syren. Starting to get higher and higher she grinned, "wooo im doing it!" she yelled into the air, "my dad will be so proud."
But Syren had spoken to soon.
"Syren!!!" shouted her father Orico. Syren lost focus and started to lose control, before you could say 'pickles' Syren had rammed into a tall old oak tree. "You know your not allowed out here alone!" bellowed Orico. "your far to fragile, you could have hurt yourself!"
Syren moaned.
"your not ready, maybe in 5 more years you can learn to fly." her father sighed.
"Dad, you said that 5 years ago!" Syren growled while stumbling to her paws, "you never trust me, all my friends can fly, but ME!"
"Look Syren, when your mother died i promised her not to let anything happen to you." Orico stated sadly.
Ever since Syrens mother died, Orico has been over protective of Syren, never letting her hunt or fly, never letting her go fly with the other dragons, Orico trusted no one when it came to his daughter.

Okay slow chapter i know but its meant to start to set off the foundation for story... More of chapter 1 tomorrow....... Hopefully.

Okay...I know the feeling when you type the beginning of fanfic, and already got compliment...

This good Blayze! I suggest you describe their appearances more, so we can have a good image.

Wow, nice story, Blayze, a dragon doesn't know how to fly... I like it, it just like Spyro's problem... Lol...

Uhh...and describe the background more...so it's easier to keep track of this story

CONTINUE OF CHAPTER 1
That cold misty night, syren and her father were sleeping in there small, rather dark cave.
Syren started to stir, she lifted her head in fright sweat dripping down her face. There was a rustling sound coming from outside.
"Here's my chance to prove to my father that i am capable of anything" she whispered to herself.
She silently snuck out of the cave, following the rustling noise, suddenly the bush next to her moved slightly. Out of the blue came an all might sneeze! "ACHOOO!"
The noise startled Syren, she pounced into the bushes, teeth bared and her all mighty talons ready to kill...

I guess it just a wolf...

Old cracking house stay the same...
That's all I though in my mind...
No response even I howl a nice pitch here...

More? The title lured me in.

Oh sorry, i have been rather busy. I shall write more tonight. Or at least try to...

CONTINUATION OF CHAPTER 1
They rolled around on the cold hard ground screeching and hissing.
"Stop Syren!" Hissed the mysterious beast.
Syren backed off a little "Who are you??????" she asked.
The beast stepped forwards into the moonlight, Syren could make out the shape of a tall thin dragon.
"The names Skree" Said the dragon.
Syren puffed up her chest trying to act strong "Leave now!"
"Or what?... You'll tell your mummy on me?" Skree replied in a menacing voice.
Syren looked to the ground started to move her paws, as she usually did when she got nervous.
"I don't have a mother, only a father..." she whispered.
"Oh, well if it makes you feel any better I don't have a mum or a dad." Said skree trying to cheer the young dragon up "you shouldn't be out here... GO HOME!" skrees voice had changed to a rather angry tone.
To scared to retaliate Syren ran out of the bushes and back to her cave...
Who was this dragon?
Why was he there?
Was he watching Syren?
