This is my Legend of Zelda fan-fiction.
Placement in the timeline: OoT (Hero Defeated) -> TMM (This) -> ALttP

*SPOILERS FOR OOT ENDING*

PROLOGUE

There once was a time, where the land of Hyrule was in chaos. The evil Ganondorf, king of Gerudos, killed the good king, and broke into the Sacred Realm, and stole the power of the triforce. His wish, was to become the ruler of the land of Hyrule. His wish was granted, but not fully. He only received one third of the Triforce.
With the power he had, he turned the once beautiful land of Hyrule, into a wasteland filled with monsters. All had seemed lost.

But... One day, seven years later, a man dressed in green appeared. Weilding the Master Sword, he awakened the six sages and stood upto the evil king. He was known as the Hero of Time.
He travelled into Ganondorf's castle and fought him bravely, to rescue Princess Zelda, and Hyrule.
After a viscious fight with him, The Hero of Time beat Ganondorf using the power of the Master Sword and Light Arrows. The evil king, with his last ounce of strength, attempted to bring down the castle with him, to destroy the Hero.
The Hero rescued the Princess, and they both escaped out of the castle in time.
The evil king refused to be beat though. He used the power of his third of the triforce to transform into the beast Ganon.
The Hero had no choice but to fight him again. He took out the Master Sword, and attempted to stab the evil king, but the Master Sword was knocked away.

The Hero struggled to fight. The sword has been lost. All hope had seemed to vanish.
Ganon attacked the Hero with all of his power, untill the Hero lyed there, blood rushing from his body.

The Sages had no choice. They had to attempt to seal Ganon away. He was not weak enough, but they still attempted it.
Princess Zelda and the Sages used their power to banish him into another Realm. They knew that this seal wouldn't last.

The Hero of Time lyed there. Almost dead, when the Triforce Symbol on his hand glowed. Then as sudden as he came, he disappeard.

Hyrule was now safe... For now.

CHAPTER 1: LINK'S TRAINING

A man with a sweatband was sitting on a log in the Ordon Forest. "Where is he? That slacker."
A young boy with a green t-shirt ran upto him. "Master Hao, sorry I'm late."
The man sighed. "Link. You'll never be a good swordsman if your always late for training."
"Sorry. I overslept." Link replied.
"Dreaming about Zelda?" Hao asked.
"Uh... No! Of course not!" Link nervously replied. "I was dreaming about my goal! To be the best swordsman ever!"
"Well you're not going to acheive that goal if you oversleep." Hao replied.
"Yeah, sorry." Link said. "But I'm ready now."
Hao smiled. "Good. Let's begin."

Hao stood up. "Today, you will practice the Spin Attack. It's a powerful technique which could one day save your life."
He picked up a sword. He then stuck it out and spun around.
"Now you try." Hao said, as he handed Link the sword.
Link picked up the sword. He stuck it out in front, spun, but fell down.
Hao chuckled. "Don't worry. Just keep practicing."

3 HOURS LATER

"You've done well today Link." Hao said.
"Thanks Master." Link replied.
Hao smiled. "Link. The day after next, there is a tournament in Hyrule Castle Town. I think you're ready to compete in it."
Link smiled. "For real?"
Hao nodded. "I reccomend leaving tommorrow evening to get there on time. I think you should take Epona."
"But... She's a mad horse though Master." Link said in worry.
"Just play Epona's Song Link." Hao replied. "It calms her down. Like it did with her ancestor. The one who helped the Hero of Time."
"You know that's just a legend." Link said.
"Or is it?" Hao replied. "Anyway, we should get back to the Village."

Link and Hao walked off.

CHAPTER 2: BEGIN THE JOURNEY

Link was sitting outside his house. "In only a few hours, I'll be leaving for Hyrule..."
A young boy ran over to him. "Link! I've got a gift for you!"
"Oh, hi Miko. What is it?" Link replied.
Miko handed him a Slingshot. "A slingshot. It's to help you whenever you're in trouble."
Link held the Slingshot above his head. "Duh duh duh Duuuuuuuuhhh."
"Why do you always do that?" Miko asked.
"It just feels right." Link replied.

Hao walked upto Link's house. He brought along a horse.
"Link. Are you ready?" he asked.
Link nodded.
"Good." Hao replied. "Epona is ready too. But be careful. Crossing through the Forest can be dangerous."
"Don't worry." Link replied. "I'll be fine."
"I hope so." Hao said.

Link got on Epona. They rode off.
Hao watched them. "I wonder if he is really the one..."

Link and Epona were crossing the forest. "I wonder why they call this the Forest of Lost..."

CRACK

Link got off Epona. "Who's there?"
He saw a shadow ran by.
Link got out his slingshot and shot the shadow.
"Ow! Why did you do that?"
"Who are you?" Link asked.

END OF CHAPTER 2

CHAPTER 3: HYRULE

"Who are you?" Link asked.
A girl the same age as him walked out of the trees. "The better question is who are you."
"Oh, I'm Link." Link replied.
The girl stared at him. "Ah, you're entering the Tournament, aren't you?"
Link nodded.
"Forget about it." she said. "You're better off watching."
"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?" Link shouted.

The girl smiled. "Name's Malon."
She walked off.
Link stared at her. "She's annoying."
He got back on Epona and walked off.

Link and Epona arrived in Hyrule Field.
Link looked up. There were dark clouds hovering over Hyrule Castle.
"Maybe we should hurry." he said.
They ran into Hyrule Castle Town.

A guard was standing there. "What do you want kid?"
Link stopped. "I'm here to enter the tournament."
"Sorry. It's been cancelled." the Guard replied. "Princess Zelda says she needs to meet someone first."
"Oh..." Link said. "Do you know when it will start again?"
The guard shrugged. "Dunno. She first wants to see a young boy from the forest, who has the symbol of the Triforce on his left hand."
He looked at Link's hand.
"Hey! That's the symbol!" he shouted. "Follow me."

A short chapter is better than no chapters!

Great job with this zelda story! It's a really good mix of both oot and wind waker in my opinion. I hope that you will eventually be able to finish this chapter as well as the resy of the fan fic.
