I'm not sure if someone already made a forum like this but anyway: I like Skylanders gameplay but I like Old Spyro's boss battles.

I prefer both the older Spyros(LoS and classic) to skylanders by a whole lot.

My favorite Spyro game is Dawn of the Dragon, but the Skylander series is second.

i like the original trilogy and skylanders and haven't played the rest. the only problem with ssa and sg is how spyro looks and don't say it's because i grew up with him cause until ssa i ignored him completly but even then it's not bad

It's like this

Classic > Skylanders > Eragon > Legend of Spyro

Classic first, then Skylanders, then LoS.

insomniac > skylanders > hero's tail/shadow legacy > most of the handheld games > enter the dragonfly > legend of spyro

Insomniac > Hero's Tail/Shadow Legacy > GBA > Enter the Dragonfly > Skylanders > LoS

IMO it's like this:

Insomniac > Enter the Dragonfly > Skylanders > Hero's tail > LOS.

Since everyone's doin' it.

Los > Insomniac > other classic games > skylanders > skylanders giants.

TLoS > Classic > Skylanders.

TLoS left a bad taste in my mouth, but it gets bonus points for having Elijah Wood and a trio of hilarious people voicing Sparx. I guess the story wasn't too bad.

Honestly, I really also enjoy the Skylanders, and I love the classics. In the words of a true Spyro fan

That's tough...I loved LoS, but I haven't played the Classics in a long time so I forget, really. And Skylanders gameplay is fun, but it could have been better.

LoS Trilogy> Skylanders> Classic Trilogy> other older games.

A Hero's Tail > Insomniac > other classic games (Enter the Dragonfly, Season of Ice/Flame, Spyro's Adventure, Spyro Fusion ect) > TLOS Trilogy > Skylanders 3DS > Skylanders console

old trilogy then skylanders then heroes tail then TLoS THEN enter the dragonfly

the others I haven't played.

Why the reviving of an old topic?

Skylanders best IMO (Even though Spyro is so much more epic in the classics) and LoS next.

I will always adore the classics. I'd say thats what comes first in my book since the original series was what I started with as a teen.
Since everyone is doing it I'll do it like this.

Original series (Spyro, Ripto's Rage, YOTD) > A Hero's Tail/ Shadow Legacy > Enter the Dragonfly > Skylanders SA/ Giants > GBA games > TLOS

I'm not the biggest fan of the "Legend" series. They are fun yes, but as a seperate series all together. The gameplay was good and what not but I hated how they revamped the story and butchered it the way they did.

AHT beats skylanders to me because it was my first video game, thus my first spyro one too obviously.
I love spyro 2 because of it's (at-times) hard, but simple gameplay, the retro feel and the cute graphics.

I love skylanders for it's gameplay, Spyro's personality and it's cute way of being funny.
Tlos was very interesting, I loved the theme, it felt well... 'legendary'.

over-all, to me, it has to be both.
