Alright, let's see if we can decode this garbage-speak.

Bakugan.
Alright.

They apparently had a web based game where you could use the codes to play online. And it shut down randomly.

So what GigaCamo is saying is that they're hoping they don't make Mario or Sonic versions of Skylanders because of...Bakugan making super hero ones? Uh..companies do what they want. Honestly, it's an ingenious ploy- make people buy things to unlock other things in game. Like physical DLC.

Now that companies are seeing how well it's worked for Activsision, we'll probably see more of this in the future. I'd be ok with that if they don't make it super expensive and they have good quality figures and stuff.

what is that horror... crossovers in toys are a sign of a dying franchise but this is beyond merely dead it was brought back as a zombie and left to quietly decompose in some corner and then they brought it's rotting carcas back to work as a last ditch effort.

now that is also the worst cross-over I have encountered yet(including fan-made ones)

and I thought Transformers(michael Bay) and Ratatouille was out there...

Ah, well that's far worse than what I imagined. Although, I have to say...those Star Wars Transformers they made a few years ago were pretty cool.

But that Wolverine. That's some unholy stuff right there.

Honestly though, Skylanders has the benefit of being a more fantasy based game. They could seamlessly merge other universes together. (For instance, Crash or one of those guys from Year of the Dragon joining the Skylanders) Whereas Bakugan is more mini robot creatures fighting; adding something to it (like Wolverine) is just..weird.

Skylanders and super hero squad have somethings in common, like elements and hero factors. And the super hero squad toys have web codes for its mmo.
