New costume?... They're not better

The infant costumes are adorable. I'd give a kid all the candy if they came like that. (Got quite a few Angry Birds last year hah)

The kid ones though. Jesus Christ how horrifying. Haha I saw these about a week ago. Glad I'm not the only one who thought the hoodies were a good idea executed wrong.

I would totally go as Spyro for Halloween, though, I had already decided on Garchomp so I might make a Spyro costume if I can't pull off the Garchomp costume.

That first stealth Elf is horrifying, but the last one is cool. The Eruptor delves into "Haha holy spitballs that's funny" territory, but that Gil Grunt is like..spot on.

Actually, I'm kind of surprised we don't see MORE of these at like official events.

is it wrong that im totally turned on by the geeksgirl in the spyro costume?

Those costumes are just....not working for me. Course I'm not the one who's usually into that sorta thing lol.
Those cosplays are much better.

That's a zip up hooded sweatshirt, and so is the pic above that...that's why it looks "odd". I have a batman one like it, that is so cool...everyone asks me where I got it.

They actually don't look that bad apart from that first Stealth Elf and the Eruptor.

Chop Chop looks like the best official one so far.

Love the Chop Chop costume, my son would go crazy for that.

If I was able to find one, I'd be walking around as choppy.

I bought a Chop Chop costume for my son tonight. It looks the best by far in my opinion. (I didn't see Trigger Happy or Gill Grunt in person though.) Spyro isn't bad either, but second choice for my son. They sell the matching shield and sword. It said Chop Chop was a Target Exclusive and sold for $25.00. The sword was made of triple/stacked layers of foam in different colors for $10.00 and the shield was blue and yellow foam(I think) too for $10.00. He only wanted the Official Chop Chop sword until he saw a generic one that sounds like metal clashing when it hits something. I had to say "no" to the shield because he will need a free hand to carry his candy anyway. The mask is made out of pretty heavy, thick rubber with yellow plastic lenses for the eyes. They got a little sloppy with the glue holding the lenses onto to eyes, so try to look at the mask as well as you can before you buy. There is a small hole near the mouth and that's all the ventilation for the face. I imagine that the mask will be quite warm.

Wal-Mart has Spyro and Trigger Happy online for $19.97.

We went to Toys R Us also but they didn't have any Skylanders costumes anywhere. We did find them on the website though.

If I was a kid that still went out Trick or Treating, I'd totally buy that Chop-Chop costume and wear it. Sadly I am a 22 year old man, so I can't really go buy one for myself. :'(

I say..You only live once. We grow up too quickly anyway. Life is too serious. If you can fit into a Chop Chop costume..GO FOR IT!!! Pass out candy in it! It looks reasonably like an adult skeleton costume.

Chop looks alright.

And on the subject of wether we're going to see anyone making any... YES! I'm going to make a Sprocket one this year! I don't actually go trick or treating but we've started work on the wrench and a wig.
