^ No, not at all! I don't know, it's just the fact that Ubisoft's specialties are RPG's, FPS's, and casual games. I know, they're working on Rayman Origins/Legends, which are platformers. But looking at the list of games that they have released, they haven't released many platformers. I hope you know where I'm getting at.

I edited my previous post to make it seem less like I'm bashing Ubisoft. I've played some of their games, and there fantastic.

I wouldn't mind it. Though the series would probably be milked (like it is with Skylanders), at least Ubisoft developers would try to be creative with it.

Don't you think that a great game like Rayman Origins is enough reason for Ubisoft to give developing Spyro a chance? Ubisoft has a surprising amount of variety. Hell, they've even proved not long ago that they can make a good driving game (Driver: San Francisco).

Plus, it should be noted that Rayman is one of the major franchises that got Ubisoft to where it is today (before things like Assassin's Creed and Just Dance came around). And Rayman has always been a platformer (not including the Rabbids series).

I'm sure that Michel Ancel and his crew at Montpellier would take good care of Spyro, if they were inclined to do so.

I honestly think if they had the rights to Spyro in the first place, they would have handled the franchise a lot better than what it is now.

Actually, it odesn't matter who will own Spyro, as long as actual developers are competent. Skylanders has pretty much competent developers, seeing how good it is smilie
