I would think that it would be a great idea for this site to be Mobile also. When I get on DarkSpyro on my android, everything is usually to small to click. Since I, (and many other users) get on our phones, ipods, and/or tablets, to get on this site, wewould like this site to also have an individual site for Mobile users. Population will definately increase, and most users would get on ALOT more.

While this would be handy to some, the whole idea seems dangerous.
Meaning that I have seen some Forums get mobile apps and then get spammed by all the new users that downloaded the app. I'm afraid that if this were to happen then DS will get spammed by new users that got here from the app. The spams were hard to control even with 2-5 mods. Imagine how long this site will last without Mods. That is IF we were to get Spammers. There's a chance that it might happen while there's a chance that it may not. |

I think the idea was for a mobile-enabled site (usually just a second skin over the database optimized for use on smaller devices and touch screens). It doesn't need to be an app to be mobile. In fact, I despise all of the sites I visit on the web on my small devices that throw up a screen begging me to download their damn app instead of just showing their site. Why would I EVER want countless gateway apps on my phone just to access the same info as the web site? I second this idea. It would make it much easier to jump on the site when hunting for Skylanders figures!

Oh allright then.
Yes, I would like this as well. Not rushin it though since I just zoom in on my iPhone. But I'm sure this would be helpful to others. |

Yes, the site works in mobile web browsers, and yes, we can zoom in on our phones and such.
However, a mobile site would usually be less graphics intensive, and somewhat simplified both in layout and user interface. That is to say that there would be better access to the content without needing to zoom way in to see it, plus there would be larger touchscreen friendly buttons. It would be faster to use over cellular connections, and easier to access on small screens. The worst sites force you to ONLY use their mobile site when a browser check command determines you are using a certain device or mobile browser. The best sites give you the option to view the full site if you so choose, while offering you a slick mobile interface to make life easier.

Well, if it were to happen, there better be an option to turn it off.
I despise mobile sites. |

A 3DS/DSi one wouldn't be a bad idea either. There seems to be a small cult of users using them. (Myself included occasionally!)
But no matter what they have to be optional. |
