i hate accounts dedicated to laughing at art. “cringe” accounts are stupid and ruin the confidence of artists.

i quit my vet tech job for another practice thats gonna be paying me $4 more an hour. and im so nervous cuz now i feel like PRESSURED to perform. like im praying to jesus i get my first blood stick there and i don't mess anything up ughh. i'm the only other certified tech there and thats more pressure. im excited to finally be making what i feel like i'm worth tho.

I am an adult now. I do not know whether I want to feel like one or lament how the affects of being an adult are treating me. I feel like an adult, yet I do not at the same time. I guess I have to get used to the transition.

College has also been...interesting, to say the least. I feel like a constant disappointment even though my brain is wired to be more technical when it comes to schoolwork, not creative. This makes me wish we had more guidance in the blueprint scripting department... (I feel like a failure of a game designer because I cannot wrap my head around scripting. This is only the second assignment of the first semester. I need to cut myself some slack.)

maybe i didnt find a career in art. but tbh that's a good thing. i wasn't built for that. chronic pain and tendonitis got worse while i tried. honestly it's best i use my brain rather than my body ig

The fact that I come back here every so often and always see the same people I recognise from years ago mostly populating the topics amazes me. And I mean that in a good way, dunno what y'all have been up to for the past few years on here but cool to see so many still here and chattin'.

One of the biggest things keeping me going is the idea that, if there is a heaven, then my personal heaven would be like a New Game+ version of my life. That I'll get to relive my life as I knew but also do all the things I didn't/couldn't do the first time. Whatever staves off my FOMO, I guess.

I've never related to Sisyphus more than after today. My store's entire system crashed, and we couldn't fulfill customers' orders. So now not only was the work I already did picking orders wasted, but I also had to reshop and put all the same items I just picked back. At least I'm getting paid, but at least Sisyphus didn't have to manually carry the boulder back down the mountain himself every time.
