I know, I know, most of us already own Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, but just in case anyone out there has been lurking and is on the fence about picking it up, TRU has once again put their Skylanders Starter sets on sale for $39.99 each and you can do free in-store pick up... The price isn't bad and hasn't went much lower than $39.99 which is around the price I bought in at.

3DS Starter comes with exclusive Dark Spyro, Ignitor, and Stealth Elf.

Wii Starter, 360 Starter, and PS3 Starter sets come with Spyro, Trigger Happy, and Gill Grunt.

I saw that! And also triple packs are $20. Which is... the price they should be.
I bought my starter pack as a mega pack in Best Buy using a $50 coupon they gave to RewardZone members a little over a month ago.

Thanks for posting this!! I have been looking for the 3ds version for my daughter so we can get dark spyro and she can use the portal for Universe, but didn't want to pay 70 for it. She will be so excited. I have 3 kids and the younger 2 always hog the wii.

@JuLeDoS: I originally purchased my 360 starter pack with the Volcanic Vault from Best Buy and had them price match the $40 TRU sale that was going on at the time.

@Suzie-Q: Yeah, I figured there'd be a few people interested in purchasing this for Dark Spyro and really, this is about as cheap as it gets and you get a bunch of extras with it too. Glad I could help.

I noticed this morning that Fry's Electronics has the starter packs for all console for $39.99 in their advert. They do NOT carry any figures though. Only starter packs.
