See I got this Wrecking ball from Frito lay contest. But I already have a Wrecking ball (this where i go oh S###!). And i have a few ideas for it. (this was in mail BTW)

1. swap it in for a different one at gamestop or at some other store
2. mail it to someone
3. make it random colored/ custom
4. (insert idea here)

no like swap it in. (it's not even opened yet and i did say "or some other store ya know")

@Landerfan2012 No I will give you a few good reasons why

1. it's for low lives (not to the parents who bought from there but the people who put them up)
2. It costs money to actually sell anything on there
3. it's just scalping WHICH IS ILLEGAL!

1. I know lots of mums and dads who sell spare stuff on EBay. I also know small operators who run legit businesses via EBay so I don't think this comment is fair. The number of items I have sold can probably be counted on my fingers or, worst case scenario, with a 3rd hand. This includes 6 Lego Wii games I sold when I got the XBox versions. I think you are putting all sellers in scalper shoes there, my friend.

2. So, simply make a minimum price that covers cost and the fee. You only pay a fee if it sells and remember you paid nearly nothing for the fig, anyway.

3. It is not scalping by any means; you are not asking $50 or something stupid. With a base price of 99c or $2 (or whatever) the market will decide what it is worth - I am sure that it would sell for in the order of $6-7 which is not scalping by anyone's definition.

But, yeah, give it away I say...

Just buy another skylanders @ (insert random store) later on return with your packed wrecking ball and ticket/evidence you bought a skylander there. Just say your little nephew already had this one and you would like to swap if for another

Making a custom is probably your best option, as henryszuch said. Nail polish may work if you have it, you should probably look it up. Acrylic paint can be bought at a art specialty store such as Michael's or AC Moore and it isn't too expensive for the amount you'd need for a custom..

no I already realized that. when me and my bro sold some games (we now call it a butt f###ing) I just thought they didn't do the same on skylanders. (maybe if i stopped by wii play)

It's more than just the trade ins. They're just a terrible company. I'd explain but I don't really want to go off topic. Without explaining too much, here are some things they do wrong.
•Trade ins
•Pestering Employees
•Selling Used Games
•Their Powerup Rewards Program
•Game Informer
•Gutting new games and selling them as nee

And the list goes on.

selling used games isn't that bad. their policy states "If game(s) doesn't work they won't put on the shelf" or something among those line.

This is disgusting, but I was more talking about how they'll give you $20 for a game like Mass Effect 3, or just a triple A new game and then sell it for $55. That's a $5 discount for something previously used. And all of that money goes straight to Gamestop, none goes to developers.
